The art of the haiku has always fascinated me. I love how syllables can sound so perfect when put together. I think, however, the greatest thing about haiku is what it represents: an idea in its purest form. I am taking a journey of self-discovery. I will write a haiku every day for a year, each day a new discovery, each day a new thought, each day an emphasis. Some days, the haiku will really suck, and others might, maybe in my dreams, belong in museums. Do they have museums for haikus? I don't know...maybe I'll get something out of this little challenge that I've given myself, maybe I'll find what I'm looking for, or maybe I'll just learn
